Pipe brackets, also known as pipe hangers or pipe supports, are common components used in plumbing and construction to support and secure pipes in place. Pipe brackets come in various designs and materials to accommodate different pipe sizes, configurations, and installation requirements. The primary function of pipe brackets is to provide structural support and prevent sagging or movement of pipes due to gravity, thermal expansion, or vibration. Proper selection and installation of pipe brackets is crucial to ensure the safety, efficiency, and longevity of the piping system. Below is a brief video demonstrating the correct way to mount a pipe bracket system.

Step by Step instructions: Mounting of Pipe Brackets
The following is an instructional guide on how to properly install a Sikla guided pipe shoe onto a Framo Cantilever Bracket and then how to mount the piping onto the pipe shoe.
- Attach the Framo cantilever bracket to a vertical Framo member, at the desired height, and secure it using 4 self forming screws.
- Attach the pipe shoe guiding bracket mounting plate to the cantilever bracket using 4 more self forming screws.
- Slide the pipe shoe into the guiding bracket.
- Adjust the pipe shoe to the proper height then tighten both adjustment nuts to secure it in place.
- Lastly, assemble the top halves of the pipe clamps around the pipe and tighten into place.
More About the Sikla Pipe Clamp Bracket Assembly
The Sikla Guided Pipe Shoe Pipe Clamp Bracket Assembly is a specialized pipe support designed to securely hold and guide pipes within a piping system. It is commonly used in industrial settings where precise alignment and support of pipes are crucial. Here is a breakdown of its components, from the bottom up:
- Mounting Plate: At the base of the Sikla Pipe Clamp Bracket sits a sturdy metal bracket, made of steel. This bracket is designed to be mounted onto a Sikla beam.
- Guided Shoe: One distinctive feature of the Sikla Pipe Clamp Bracket is the presence of a guided shoe. This is a specialized component that helps to guide the pipe as it expands or contracts due to temperature changes or other factors. The guided shoe prevents excessive movement or vibration of the pipe, which could lead to damage or failure of the piping system.
- Pipe Clamp: Attached to the pipe shoe guide is a pipe clamp, which securely holds the pipe in place. The clamp is adjustable to accommodate pipes of various diameters.
These unique aspects of the Sikla Guided Pipe Shoe Pipe Clamp Bracket are what drives this product’s reputation for adjustability and performance. Sikla pipe clamp brackets easily accommodate a variety of pipe sizes and installation requirements. This allows for flexibility in its use across a range of piping applications. The pipe clamp brackets are constructed to withstand the rigors of industrial environments, ensuring long-term reliability. Overall, Sikla Pipe Brackets provide a robust solution for supporting and guiding pipes, that ensures stability, alignment, and integrity over time, within industrial piping systems.
