Adjustable Pipe Support Mounting Options
In this video we examine pipe mounting options on a Sikla Framo crossbar, that is mounted perpendicularly to Framo beam sections using beam section holders (aka u brackets). The first two options show different ways to fasten u bolt clamps, and the third option shows how to fasten a pipe mounting plate for threaded rod pipe supports.
Pipe Mount Option 1: U Bolts (Double Bracket)
The first option shows a double bracket u bolt fastening. Brackets are positioned on either side of where the pipe is to be located and fastened into place. The pipe is positioned, then the u bolt is secured around the pipe, through the mounting brackets and tightened down securely.
Pipe Mount Option 2: U Bolts (Single Bracket)
The second option shows a single bracket u bolt fastening. The bracket is positioned below the pipe mounting location and fastened into place. The pipe is positioned, then the u bolt is secured around the pipe, through the mounting bracket and tightened down securely.
Pipe Mount Option 3
The third option shows the use of a threaded rod mounting plate to attach a threaded rod mounted pipe clamp assembly.
