Eberl Iron Works launches sixth product division MMS

BUFFALO, NY – Thursday, May 12th was an eventful day for employees of Eberl Iron Works, Inc. It began with a company-wide announcement from CEO, John Eberl, and CFO, Nora Eberl:

“We have great news related to the continued growth of EIW,” wrote Nora in an internal memo. “In the tradition and eagerness of Eberl Iron Works’ quest to satisfy our customers, we are proud to announce the addition of our Modular Mechanical Support (MMS) Division,” she continued.

MMS is one of six highly focused divisions that were established to directly address the very specific product and service requirements of our customers and to better serve their unique needs.

Other divisions, in chronological order of their establish dates include: Metal Fabrication Services (MFS), Unistrut Buffalo Supports (UBS), Traffic Safety Products (TSP), Rooftop Support Systems (RTS), and Stair Components and Systems (SCS).

The addition of a sixth EIW division also brings with it a brand new, stand-alone website officially launched on Monday, May 23rd. The website can be found at:

Nora went on in her memo to finish, “The new division will help our customers with their projects by performing take-off and design of material that we currently distribute. Our goal is to provide solutions to our various customer’s needs.”

The establishment of the MMS division continues to follow the company’s initiative of expanding services to provide complete building and construction solutions and services that incorporate and expand upon our sale of off-the-shelf goods.

When asked to elaborate on the reasons behind this shift in goods and services, Eberl Iron Works’ CEO, John Eberl, explained, “any company can sell the same or similar building materials, and in fact many do. Where we excel is in building on value to those products by turning them into a time and money saving solution that solves the most critical needs our customers have.”

Also announced, in support of the new Modular Mechanical Supports division, were the creation of a new position and hiring of an additional employee. Jared Carris was promoted from within to fill the new role of MMS Estimator/Coordinator, and Joshua Morgan, of Orchard Park, NY will be joining the team later this month as MMS Drafter.

Concerted efforts to increase Eberl’s web presence and expand their virtual reach began in 2019 with the marketing team, consisting of Marketing and Technology Supervisor, Liz Durand, and Lead Marketing & IT Associate, Brandon Cammarano.

“We recognized the best way to serve our customers was to give them their own unique web spaces, devoted to their specific needs,” said Liz Durand.

EIW began with a single site, eberliron.com. The modularmechanicalsupports.com website is the seventh website Eberl Iron Works has either created from scratch or redesigned and relaunched since 2020.

You can visit all of EIW’s websites here:

Established in 1923 as a small welding shop, Eberl Iron Works, Inc. maintains headquarters at its original Buffalo location and serves markets across North America.
