Building a Pipe Bridge
Adjustable pipe supports and racks are the perfect solution when looking to safely and securely mount and protect your important pipes, tubes, gas lines and electrical trays. By suspending them from a pipe storage rack and creating a pipe bridge, peace of mind is created knowing your utility lines are out of harms way from warehouse traffic and other potential ground hazards.
After the pipes, tubing and electrical trays are secured to the modular pipe rack, additional base plates and siFramo beams are attached to enclose the support system. Then the system is hoisted into place for mounting, thus creating a pipe bridge.
Modularity, & Stability
Sikla siFramo is #1 when it comes to modularity and stability. Applications are endless and because of its versatility, assembly is seamless and all modular pipe bridges and pipe racks can be assembled on site. Thread forming screws allow for easily assembly which provides stability and peace of mind. siFramo connections can also be fitted with adapters that fit with our line of Unistrut products to meet all of your project needs and requirements.
The images below are from a project for a military application that was shipped to Eastern Pennsylvania. A combination of our stock and Sikla warehouse material; the customer was able to assemble a pipe bridge that was installed in their ceiling. Once the piping and tubing was installed, the structure was hoisted to the ceiling with a crane and the pipe bridge was securely installed. In total, the project material list included 100 ft of siFramo 80, 1,900 ft of siFramo 100 and 50 ft of siFramo 160.
